Ways to Support
The movement for Sabah's self-determination depends on the energy, commitment, and resources of people around the world who believe in justice and the rights of peoples to determine their own futures. Whatever your skills, background, or capacity, there is a meaningful way for you to contribute to our cause.
◈ Become a Member
Joining the RSNB-GIE as a formal member means adding your voice to our growing movement. Members receive regular updates, participate in community consultations, and have the opportunity to contribute to the direction of our advocacy. Membership is open to all Sabahans and friends of Sabah who share our commitment to peaceful self-determination.
◈ Volunteer
We are always looking for skilled volunteers to support our work. Whether your background is in law, international relations, communications, web development, graphic design, translation, community organizing, or simply passionate about the cause — we want to hear from you. Volunteers are the backbone of everything we do.
◈ Donate
Financial contributions directly fund our legal research, international advocacy, communications work, and public education activities. Every donation — regardless of size — makes a real difference to our capacity to pursue Sabah's cause. All contributions are used transparently and solely for advocacy purposes.
◈ Spread the Word
One of the most powerful things you can do is share our message. Follow us on social media, share our content with your networks, talk to friends and family about Sabah's story, and help raise awareness among people who may not yet know about the RSNB-GIE and our cause. Public awareness is the foundation of political change.
Join Our Network
The RSNB-GIE network spans continents, connecting Sabahans and friends of Sabah from Melbourne to London, from Toronto to Kuala Lumpur. By joining our network, you become part of a community united by a shared commitment to justice, self-determination, and the peaceful pursuit of a better future for Sabah.
Network members receive our newsletter, invitations to community events and webinars, access to our resource library, and the opportunity to connect with fellow advocates worldwide. We are stronger together — and your participation makes our movement more powerful.
For Diaspora Communities
If you are a Sabahan living abroad, you occupy a uniquely important position in our movement. As members of the diaspora, you have the freedom to speak, organize, and advocate in ways that may not be possible for those living under the current political environment in Sabah. Your voice carries weight in the democratic countries where you reside, and your connections to Sabah — family, culture, identity — give you an unmatched understanding of what is at stake.
We encourage all Sabahans in the diaspora to make contact with us, share your stories, and consider how you can contribute to our collective effort. Whether through formal membership, volunteering, financial support, or simply raising awareness in your community — every act of solidarity matters.
Australia
The RSNB-GIE was founded in Melbourne. Our Australian network is our largest and most active. Contact us to connect with other Sabahans in Australia and to get involved in our activities here.
United Kingdom
We have an active and growing network in the UK. Sabahans in Britain have a particular connection to our cause through the history of British North Borneo, and their advocacy can have significant impact in Westminster.
Other Countries
Wherever you are in the world, we want to hear from you. We are building diaspora networks in North America, Europe, and across Asia. Contact us to find out how to get involved in your location.
