Who We Are

RSNB-GiE is a national platform for Sabahans and supporters of Sabah’s political future who maintain that the people of Sabah have the right to determine their own destiny.

We are a body committed to peaceful advocacy, historical truth, legal and diplomatic engagement, democratic legitimacy, and respect for all peoples of Sabah. Our work proceeds from the principle that Sabah is not merely a passive political unit, but a homeland with its own identity, historical experience, and rightful claim to determine its own future.

RSNB-GiE exists to provide leadership, structure, and direction to a serious and responsible national effort. It serves as a platform for public education, historical and legal research, national awareness, diplomatic outreach, and long-term preparation for self-government.

Our role is not only to speak about freedom, but to help prepare the political, intellectual, and institutional foundations required for Sabah to emerge as a sovereign country under the name Republic of Sabah North Borneo.

Our Character
RSNB-GiE is not an armed movement, nor is it a body founded on hatred, division, or disorder. It is a representative and preparatory body formed to advance Sabah’s cause in a way that is responsible, credible, and internationally understandable.

Our Responsibility
We recognise that a genuine national struggle must be more than emotion or rhetoric. It must also involve discipline, knowledge, organisation, public responsibility, and long-term preparation.

That is the role RSNB-GiE seeks to fulfil.
