Foundation

Its foundation arose from the understanding that Sabah’s political status remains unresolved in law and history, and that a peaceful, lawful, democratic, and internationally responsible platform was necessary to represent that cause with seriousness, discipline, and continuity.

The establishment of RSNB-GiE reflects the view that Sabah’s future must be determined by its own people, and that any genuine political settlement must rest on truth, legitimacy, peaceful engagement, and the principle of self-determination.

Why RSNB-GiE Was Established
RSNB-GiE was established because many Sabahans and supporters of Sabah’s cause concluded that a structured and credible body was needed to:
• represent Sabah’s political cause with clarity and seriousness
• strengthen public understanding of Sabah’s historical and political position
• pursue peaceful national advocacy
• engage responsibly with the international community
• prepare the long-term foundations required for future self-government

Its establishment was not intended as a symbolic act alone. It was intended as an organised response to what is regarded as an unresolved political and historical question.

A Responsible Foundation
RSNB-GiE was founded to operate with restraint, discipline, and responsibility. Its purpose is not disorder, but preparation; not hostility, but principled national representation.
